This morning at WEF 8 was really fun! I had Morgan riding Only One in the Thoroughbred Jumpers and Libby riding Winston in the Training Jumpers. Both girls rode well and the horses were adorable! Only One's class was a Speed. He and Morgan jumped a quick clear round to Win the class!!! Libby and Winston also jumped a clear to take a blue in their class! Tony had a clear round Wednesday in the schooling jumpers. It's rewarding to watch our lessons pay off. Photo: Tony and Aslan

Our WEF week 7 ended well. Caitlyn and Layla ended Reserve Champion in the Medium Jrs! They had their Classic in the International Arena today. Layla had 1 down. Bink and Caitlyn were clear and 1 down in the jump off! Caitlyn rode well, her 1st time in that impressive arena! Cara and Victoria rode very well in their Classics too. There were 105 in the Low AO & 106 in the Medium A/O! The numbers here at WEF are unbelievable.

Anne Kursinski rode MTM Motto to the top of the leader board for the first 1.30m-1.35m class yesterday at the International Polo Club Palm Beach during the Wellington Turf Tour. “Going early this morning, I was hoping that it would be good, but it was perfect! It was amazing; the polo crew knows how to take care of the ground. I had the same studs in that I used in the sunshine and I didn’t even go any bigger because the footing is so good. I went quite fast and never even thought of slipping. When I first got here I thought we might just train, but it felt good so I thought let’s go fast.” Read how both Anne and Nina Fagerstrom rode to the top of the two 1.30-1.35m Jumpers today at the Wellington Turf Tour: http://goo.gl/kSsbk1 |
