The show is relaxed with great competition. These show grounds are unique and very special. The footing is extraordinarily good. I have many fond memories of great wins here in the Dixon Oval. Motto has enjoyed jumping here too. Friday night, in the Open Speed, he was clear and 5th. I wasn't sure how he'd handle the impressive atmosphere with lights and crowd. No problem.
Last night, in the $25,000 Devon Classic, Motto was super. This was his toughest class to date. He jumped double clear! We were nearly as fast as some of the seasoned Grand Prix horses to finish up 5th. I am thrilled with his performance!
Morgan and her Charmendino had a competitive round in the High Children Speed. They made all of the turns and jumped clear to earn 5th place!
