I am extremely excited to welcome a talented new assistant to my Market Street Team, Stephen Foran! He will be training, showing, teaching and sales.
Stephen grew up riding at his father’s Liberty Farm in Chicago. In 2012, he won the Emerging Athletes Program Finals. The following year he was a working student for Missy Clark at North Run. Stephen was on the Zone 5 Junior Young Rider team in 2013. He has competed in National Grand Prix and attended the major Equitation Finals.
After his junior career, Stephen worked for Peter Wylde. Peter arranged for him to work for Henk Nooren in Belgium. He showed young horses and sale horses for Nooren for over a year. Stephen then based himself in Germany where he rode for horse dealers and competed up to CSI 2* Grand Prix level as well as many young horses.
Last month, I taught a clinic in Whitesboro, Texas. The clinic was very well attended.Several riders had powerful breakthroughs. I am thankful so many professionals rode with me there. They learn new things, feel new things, see new things and can then share these new things! My hats off to all of them for putting themselves out there and being so open to improve! They were an incredibly wonderful group of students and horses to work with.

My students and I had great results at Princeton Show Jumping in April. Sam Hamzavi and her horse Tommy VDL moved up to the High Junior/Amateur Jumpers and were Reserve Champion of the division! My new horse Caspar won two 1.30m classes and took home the Champion ribbon for the division. (Click here to watch one of our winning rounds.) Motto placed 4th and Armado 7th in the $25,000 Grand Prix of Princeton. I was very proud of all my students and the horses!
Olympian Anne Kursinski's acclaimed book on riding horses over fences delivers on-target counsel and the kind of sophisticated, quality instruction you can only get in top barns around the world.
"Finding a distance to a jump, rhythm, timing - my exercises help teach a rider to dance with their horse. Watching the video you’ll see how these exercises help the horse and rider become one.”
